Mayans are considered to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated pre-Columbian civilizations, who also built astonishing pyramid temples. Moreover, they used cacao as currency and were versed in astronomy. Maya civilization is famous for the accurate numerical system, developed precise calendars, invented rubber, and created a ballgame that’s essentially the forefather of soccer! 

In addition, Guatemala is one more country in Latin America with great potential for PV module application. The National Energy plan of the country defines renewable energy as a priority. Moreover, Guatemala plans to reach 80% renewable energy utilization by 2030.
