What do you know about the ancient and miracle civilization of – the Maya? Majorly, their origins came from Guatemala. Mayans are considered to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated pre-Columbian civilizations, who also built astonishing pyramid temples. Moreover, they used cacao as currency and were versed in astronomy. Maya civilization is famous for the accurate numerical system, developed precise calendars, invented rubber, and created a ballgame that’s essentially the forefather of soccer!
In addition, Guatemala is one more country in Latin America with great potential for PV module application. The National Energy plan of the country defines renewable energy as a priority. Moreover, Guatemala plans to reach 80% renewable energy utilization by 2030.
Eco Green Energy is glad to support the movement to such a decent goal, and leave its Solar footprint; today we present a new solar installation done at the home of Maya.
Our authorized distributor, ECOLOGICO SOLAR, finished an on-grid system of 12.6 kW for residential installation in Zone 15, in Guatemala City. This system consists of 28 panels EGE Helios plus 450w mono 9BB, that possible to provide the highest efficiency of 20.81%.
Why HELIOS Plus PV modules are the most suitable for this project:
9BB Monocrystalline Module 144 Cells;
Lower temperature coefficient than standard PV module (possible to reach here -0.35%);
Power warranty of 83.2% after 25 years (loss of 0.6% efficiency per year);
Lower LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy), with a more competitive price than 5BB;
Reduction of the risk of Micro-cracks;
Reducing the loss of current mismatch and resistance between the cells;
Junction box IP68;
Also, all our products are always of the best quality and have positive tolerance.
