Our distribution partner in North Macedonia and Serbia has recently finished a new industrial solar 105KW project. This on-grid rooftop project is in Strumica City and will power industrial clients, thus enabling them to lower their power bills and be more independent from the grid.
From our office in Luxembourg, we serve project developers and installers and accompany them at each step of their projects. In addition to this technical support, we also offer marketing services to help them be more visible and increase their business.
European clients, whether residential, commercial, or industrial are more and more turning to solar because of the price increase of energy. Most European countries have strong decarbonization plans, which push them to support solar and give incentives for the installation of solar panels.
The module used for this project is ATLAS 550W. This module is in great demand for bigger projects, because of its high power and efficiency (21.28%). Thanks to its gallium-doped cells, this module has a higher lifetime and is more protected again degradation. This improves the rentability of the installations where it is used.
Solar Energy in Macedonia
By 2024, 130MW of new solar electricity production projects will be awarded through public calls. They are other plans for big solar power plants to be installed in the country by various entities.
The country is planning to produce 38% of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030. This is why there are currently investing a lot in this technology.
