Traveling to Lithuania, we found out that the country has the oldest tongue, even older than Greek, Latin, German, or Slavic!  It belongs to an Indo-European language group, and Lithuanian is the closest one to ancient Sanskrit.

In addition, what is more, captivating is that the longest Lithuanian word is: “nebeprisikiškiakopūsteliaujantiesiems” which has 37 letters. The meaning of the word is something like: “a group of people who used to go to a forest, to pick up some rabbit grass, but are no longer doing that”.  Nowadays, this word does not frequently use in daily conversations.
