New residential installations in Chile

They recently finished several solar installations in Valparaíso, Metropolitana, and Novena. For these projects, they used EGE Helios Plus 450w. The total capacity installed this month is 50.4kw.

Electricity production in Chile is mostly based on conventional energy sources, with a share of 94% coming from fossil fuels and 60% from big hydroelectric projects, respectively. However, by 2050, Chile aims to be greenhouse gas emission neutral, with at least 70% of its power coming from renewable sources.

In addition to large-scale projects, the residential segment is also on the rise in Chile.
