Fossil fuels such as fuel oil and coal are still dominating the energy mix of New Caledonia. The country’s government is driven to change the present status and strongly desires to transfer towards renewable energies.
According to the regulations of the Energy Transition plan for New Caledonia (STENC),2016, – the country has a target to apply 100% renewable energy in public distribution by 2025. Actually, this plan considers three objectives: reduce total energy consumption, increase the share of renewable energy, and also reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Thereby, New Caledonia is developing recycling and waste management to facilitate nature conservation without restaining economic development.
Eco Green Energy is gratified to find recognition in the New Caledonian market with its PV modules of top quality. Our Company has been a reliable supplier of solar panels for more than three years with a solid contribution in pursuing to move forward with renewable energy. Here, we present a new project completed in New Caledonia.
Our local partner, Socometra ENGIE, developed a rooftop project on a middle school Collège de Mariotti, Nouméa, using 333 EOS Mono 330w. In fact, the middle school can enjoy 100 kW of pure energy for their needs, reducing carbon footprint and empowering students with solar knowledge.
Why EGE EOS mono is the best suitable for this project:
325W-335W Mono PERC 60 Cells, with efficiency up to 22.8%
IP68 junction box for long term weather endurance
High-quality aluminum frame, resisting load up to 5400 Pa and wind pressure up to 3800 Pa
High transmissivity but low-iron tempered glass
High performance in the low-light environment
Double EL test before and after lamination
