Summer is continuing, and it’s time to protect our heads and minds from the scorching sun. The most famous accessory for that is a Panama hat, the best thing to protect from the sun and originally from Ecuador. Those straw hats received their name as were taken to Panama and initially sold to canal workers and after the canal opened – to affluent westerners passing through the Panama Canal. Although, primarily Ecuadorian people wove them along the coast.

Moreover, Ecuador is not only well-protected during the hot weather, but also the country is actively using solar energy for different needs: residential, industrial, and commercial applications. The total solar capacity of this country reached 27.65MW in 2021.

Eco Green Energy is excited to deliver a recent solar application completed in Manta city. Our credible EPC partner, Energy Power Ecuador, completed the on-grid project of 59,4kW, using 110 panels – the EGE Atlas 540W 10BB Mono made with Gallium-dopped technology with 21.28% maximized efficiency. Moreover, they also used 2 three-phase KSTAR invertors of 32kW each, for ensuring extra safety for the PV system.
