Poland is seeing an increasing number of unsubsidized solar projects as it moves in leaps and bounds towards a target of 7.8GW of solar capacity this decade, as outlined in its National Plan for Energy and Climate.

According to the European PV industry association, SolarPower Europe predictions, the Polish solar market will grow by 35% annually. Actually, in Poland solar boom is happening at every level, from smaller privately-owned rooftop PV systems and commercial rooftop systems to large free-standing installations.

Łomży (Poland) developed and completed with a help of our official distributor in Poland, 4sun. In fact, for this installation, they used 17pcs of Eco Green Energy high-efficiency Helios Plus 370W modules. Moreover, the total capacity of the rooftop installation is 6.29kW.

Poland’s solar market remains one of the biggest and fast developing in Europe. Although the solar market there started late with robust governmental support proportion of solar energy has significantly increased in recent years. According to PV Europe, the real potential of photovoltaic installations was estimated at 7 GW by 2030 and more than 16 GW by 2040. The solar boom in Poland is happening at every level, from smaller private and commercial solar roof projects to large installations.

For less than ten years, the solar capacity has grown from 0,3 GW to 7122 GW, according to the latest data. The solar boom in Poland is happening at every level, from smaller private and commercial solar roof projects to large installations. In fact, the polish solar market is increasing by 35% annually; in 2024, the country aims to reach a capacity of 8.3 GW.

Active preparations for spring have already begun and, 4sun, our official distributor in Poland, settled a new solar roof project in Poland using the EGE 370W Helios Plus panels. This private installation is located in Gorlo village with a total capacity of 10.36 kW.
