Welcome to our #SolarEnergyTripAroundTheWorld, where we combine captivating global regions facts as well as share news about recent solar installations. Latvia, the country we have a discussion today, is famous for its culture of seasonal food foraging. As the weather changes, many Latvians take the opportunity to sample nature’s offerings in style. Each season brings new delicious delicacies – ranging from blueberries to herbs, mushrooms to cranberries.
Latvia is almost entirely open to tourists and citizens, meaning that you can forage for fruit or vegetation in pretty much any forest you like. Just be sure to be respectful – a forest is a sacred place for many Latvians.
In addition, good news for the renewable market: the Baltic States are planning to switch significantly to clean energy by 2050. Recently, Latvia has made more and more active steps to achieve this goal. Eco Green Energy is happy to be a part of solar development in the Baltic region, and here are recent projects completed with our panels in Latvia. Today we are pleased to share both on-grid residential commercial installations completed in this charming country with a total capacity of 40kW. The systems consist of 450W Helios Plus 9BB 144 half-cells, with an efficiency of up to 20.81% for supplying clean energy for a long time.
Why HELIOS Plus PV modules are the most suitable for this project:
> 9BB Monocrystalline Module 144 Cells.
> Lower temperature coefficient than standard PV module (possible to reach here -0.35%);
> Power warranty of 83.2% after 25 years (loss of 0.6% efficiency per year);
> Lower LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy), with a more competitive price than 5BB.
> Reduction of the risk of Micro-cracks.
> Reducing the loss of current mismatch and resistance between the cells.
> Junction box IP68.
Eco Green Energy is always on the way to renewables implementation globally!
