New project in Senegal: solar water pump done with Atlas 550W

July, 1st 2022

If one day you decide to travel to Senegal, be sure to meet a lot of goats and sheep on the roads, walking through houses and markets.

 Local citizens believe that they have a spiritual significance: during the holiday of Tabaski, families sacrifice a male sheep as an offering to God in exchange for spiritual fulfillment. In addition, many taxi drivers will have the tail of a sheep hanging from their taxi’s rear as a means of good luck.

Due to growing electricity demand, Senegal also has a tremendous perspective for solar system project development. Recently stabilized economic and political situations attract numerous solar investors to the country. As African Business reports, Senegal would reach a renewable energy target before 2025 if it has actively installed solar plants.

Let’s discover a new project from the homeplace of “Lions of Teranga.” Our authorized distributor, SOS Energie, smoothly developed the solar system in the Thiés region for the water pump that provides water to locals. This installation consists of 36 pcs Solar Panels EGE brand Atlas 550W PV modules with Gallium-dopped technology.

Furthermore, solar water pumps promote saving costs, minimize the dependence on electricity, and are environmentally friendly without any emission production.

Why Atlas 540W is the best solution for this successful solar installation:

>Gallium-doped Technology

>10BB Monocrystalline Module

>Lower LCOE and BOS

>Anti PID/ Low LID protection

>Less Hot Spot Shading effects

>Lower temperature coefficient

>More output in weak light conditions, such as haze, cloudy, and morning.

We are highly grateful to our partners for their support and trust in our #qualitéfrançais

Solar farm completed in Morocco

March, 25th 2022

Morocco is rich in sun resources, which makes it attractive for solar energy implementation. Currently, the renewable sector there is growing fast, especially solar energy.  The country has one of the highest rates of solar insolation among other countries— about 3,000 hours per year.  As was mentioned, earlier, Morocco entirely relied on fossil fuels at 97%.  Nowadays, the country is actively transforming its energy production through natural resources such as wind, solar, hydro by increasing solar farm presence around.

In fact, solar energy development positively influences not only the country but the African continent.

Eco Green Energy is delighted to support energy transition with our outstanding engineered PV modules, ensuring meet technical compliance and competitiveness for African market, such as EOS Series. We want to share one more project finished in Morocco. Our partner, Solarway By Disway, has recently installed an on-grid solar farm in Marrakech city. This project consists of 30 high efficient panels EOS poly 335W with a capacity of 10kW.

Main features of EOS Poly PV modules:
72 Cells with efficiency up to 21%
IP68 junction box for long term weather endurance
High-quality aluminum frame, resisting load up to 5400 Pa and wind pressure up to 3800 Pa
High transmissivity but low-iron tempered glass
High performance in the low-light environment
Double EL test before and after lamination

EOS Poly Panels are also suitable for areas with high temperatures and extreme conditions.

Solar water pump in Morocco with EGE EOS

February, 25th 2022

Morocco has one of the most ambitious energy targets worldwide, possessing sun and wind resources. The country is confidently moving to become a world leader in renewable energy. Even hard to believe that recently 97% of the whole energy was provided by fossil fuels.

As the head of the Moroccan Agency For Solar Energy, Tarik Hamane reported, Morocco is planning to get 52% percent of renewable energy by 2024. Moreover, it is even six years faster than the original 2030 target that the country has chosen before.

Eco Green Energy is glad to be a part of great plans on the path to increase the usage of renewable energy. We are proud to have a vast African distributor network and implicate a lot of projects together, including Morocco. Here is the latest PV project, a solar water pump, located in this country. Now, this solar installation provides clean energy for the water pump system to supply water for irrigation.

In fact, solar water pumps promote saving costs, minimize the dependence on electricity. They are also environmentally friendly and without any emission production.

We are thankful to our partner, Solar House Energy, for developing a successful solar project using the EGE EOS poly panels.

Solar system project completed in Senegal

January, 25th 2022

Due to growing electricity demand, Senegal has a tremendous perspective for solar system project development. Over the past years, the country’s economic and political situation has become stable. It makes Senegal an attractive country for solar investors. The government of Senegal has a plan to increase renewable energy generation to achieve total access to electricity by 2025.  As African Business reports, Senegal would reach a renewable energy target before 2025 if it has actively installed solar plants.

Such movements positively influence the country’s development generally. For example, during the last years, access to electricity significantly increased. As a subsequent, Senegal has provided cheaper tariffs for local citizens. Moreover, the solar power market benefits from the liberalized structure that allows private companies to build and operate solar system projects.

Eco Green Energy would like to share a new solar system project done in Senegal. 66 solar modules EOS Poly 280W were used for the water pump located in the Louga region that distributes water in villages.

Sincerely thankful to our distributor SOS Energie for the development and installation of this project.

In addition, solar water pumps promote saving costs, minimize the dependence on electricity, and are environmentally friendly without any emission production.

The on-grid solar project was settled in Morocco

December, 9th 2021

Morocco is a country with significant sun resources, having one of the most ambitious energy targets globally. Currently, the renewable energy industry is a fast-growing sector there. The government positively facilitate it by the launch of the Moroccan Solar Energy Programme (NOOR). In fact, the country focuses on the local enrichment of production facilities, storage, and distribution. Definitely, it beneficially impacts the energy management systems.

Eco Green Energy is glad to be a part of great plans on the path to increase the usage of renewable energy. Together with Atlas Power Products, we completed an on-grid solar project in Rabat, Morocco. 200 pcs of the EGE brand EOS Mono 400W solar panels were used in the 80kW system.

Why EOS mono panels are the most acceptable for on-grid solar projects:

5BB Monocrystalline 72 cells, with efficiency up to 22.8%;

IP68 junction box for long term weather endurance;

High-quality aluminum frame, resisting load up to 5400 Pa and wind pressure up to 3800 Pa;

High transmissivity but low-iron tempered glass;

High performance in the low-light environment;

Double EL test before and after lamination;

Solar system to power a water pump project in Senegal

October, 14th 2021

Eco Green Energy brand PV module has been involved in many projects in Senegal and here we have pictures of a new one. As following is a 25.2kW solar system to power a pump project, using 90 pcs of Eco Green Energy brand EOS POLY 280W PERC panels. EGE modules are only made of grade A solar cells with very high efficiency and ensured more than 25 years of lifespan. Product warranty for 12 years.
Our solar panels EOS 280W are still in high demand in Africa for the water pump and irrigation systems, which still required good quality and efficient panels, but with cost-effective price and lower power than the new generation of panels.

Our strategy at Eco Green Energy is still to offer a wide range of PV modules for all types of installation. If you want to know more about our product range, feel free to visit our product page.
