French brand Eco Green Energy panels are being presented by its distributor Inselcom, from Bucaramanga-Colombia, at Agroexpo 2021 fair from October 22th to November 1st in Coferias – Bogotá, Stand 650, hall 6, level 1.
Solar energy in the agricultural sector and in agriculture
Since large amounts of electricity are consumed in agricultural and farming activities for irrigation, plowing, greenhouses, heating, and cooling buildings; electricity bills can be high. It is there that the need arises to make use of alternative energy, such as solar energy.
Some of the areas in which the agricultural industry can benefit from photovoltaics include solar drying, water pumping, and refrigeration for food preservation. Photovoltaic energy can power agricultural operations, lights, and electric fences. Barns can also be adapted to capture natural daylight, rather than using electric lights.
