A happy 2020 year it will be for Eco Green Energy as we have just received UL certification 1703 for our products!
UL company has been at the forefront of setting and testing standards for solar panels. They created the first photovoltaic module standard in 1986 and are still an unavoidable partner for module manufacturers.
Today, Underwater Laboratories company has certified our panels according to their UL 1703 standard :
- Up to 295W for 60 cells and 355 in 72 cells for our Poly panels
- Up to 330W for 60 cells and 395W in 72 cells for our Mono panels.

PV module safety certification UL 1703 is the industry standard for baseline safety and performance. It mainly focuses on three axes of testing : Mechanical, Electrical and Fire hazards.
Temperature variations, wind, snow, corrosion, fire (for BIPV panels), electrical performances, hot spots… Everything is tested, measured and reported. More details on UL’s certifications can be found here.
For EGE, this certification strengthens our commitment to provide the best product quality. It also reinforces our position and opportunities in Latin American countries such as Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico (U.S.A) and most of Central America.
