1. Raw materials for PV modules
China, with no doubt, has become the world’s largest producer of solar panels. In 2019, 80% of the world’s supply of solar panels are made in China. The rapid development of the industry made China capable of a full supply chain for solar panels. In fact, it is very important for a solar panel manufacturer to set up its own factory in China to distinguish and obtain the best quality raw materials.
Eco Green Energy established its own factory in 2015 in Nantong, Jiangsu province in China. The raw materials of EGE PV modules, from the cells to the glass, even the junction box, are all of the highest quality available on the market. First, the source of the cells must be A-grade crystal silicon cells from first-class suppliers. After that, we re-test each solar cell through the KOPAD cell sorting machine according to the strict European standards. And only those that pass the test are retained for use. 2. PV modules production process
After the selection of raw materials, we will officially enter the production link, processing top-quality raw materials into top-quality solar modules.
First step: Welding
The welding step is an automatic process, which means that the welding machine is the key point of this step. Eco Green Energy uses a top brand welding machine to assemble or weld the G1, M6, M10, and other solar cells together to produce standard modules, half-cut modules, and MBB modules.
During this part, if the welding process between the busbar is not well, it will lead to high resistance between the cells and cause hot spots on the panels. This can be avoided by using industry-leading welding machines.
Second step: Assembly
In the assembly process, the key lies in the positioning of the cells. Eco Green Energy uses high-quality assembly machines to ensure the perfect connection between the cells, avoiding microcracks and hot spots in the final product. Meanwhile, the machine can also make the space between each row and column of cells uniform and minimized to improve component efficiency.
Third step: Lamination
During this part, we need to pay attention to avoid corrosion and delamination. For example, internal corrosion occurs when moisture penetrates inside the panel. Hence, during the laminating process, we must place the components in a vacuum environment, use a high-quality lamination machine, and lead the staff to strictly follow the operation specifications and instructions to ensure the perfect lamination of the PV module.
Fourth step: Framing
GRACO automatic glue control system used by Eco Green Energy can protect the panels from air, dust, and moisture. Besides, it also helps the panels to firmly attach to the frames.
Raw materials of frames used for Eco Green Energy solar panels are all Grade A anodized aluminum, with 1.5mm thickness. Most important is compliance with TUV and UL certifications.
